Before Abraham died an old man; before Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son; before Abraham was even promised a son; before Abraham even made a covenant with God; and before Abram even became Abraham he was counted as righteous before God because he had FAITH and trusted in God.
What does that tell us? All along- even before Jesus came to this earth- it has been faith that is ultimately important not any rules we try to keep. Gal. 3:6
